An update to our service - Coronavirus
The Pickaquoy Centre closed to the public, in line with all Orkney Islands Council sport and leisure facilities, on Friday 20 March, and will remain closed until government guidance allows us to reopen.
Currently our telephone line is being used by the Orkney Coronavirus Community Support Hub so we we can not be reached by phone. Below is a list of customer FAQ's. If your query is not answered below, you can email us and we will respond as soon as possible.
Refunds & Cancellations
If you had a ticket booked for the cinema or an event, you will be issued with a full refund. We are currently operating with a reduced number of staff, so refunds are taking longer than normal to process. Please email us if you have any concerns.
Orkney Caravan Park closure
The Orkney Caravan Park will remain closed until the end of June, however this is under ongoing review. If you have a booking between now and the end of June, your booking will be cancelled and a refund will be issued. Please note, we are working with reduced staff numbers so tasks are taking longer than usual to complete. Please email us if you have any concerns.
ActiveLife & ActiveIslands
All ActiveLife and ActiveIslands memberships will be frozen from Wednesday 1 April, and will remain frozen until the centre reopens.
In partnership with Les Mills, as a special offer to our ActiveLife and ActiveIslands members, we are offering a free two month affiliate membership to Les Mills On Demand where members can access the full 800+ range of classes. An email was sent to all ActiveLife and ActiveIslands members on Monday 4 May, and includes full details of how you can access this special offer. If you are a member and did not receive the information, please email us and someone will get back to you.
