We're bringing stories to life through our brand new Picky Dance Academy musical themed three day workshops! Kids will learn the steps and routines from some of the most popular musicals out there such as Frozen, Hairspray and The Lion King. Each workshop will recreate the narrative through movement, concluding with a filmed performance that the children can download as a keepsake for them and their families.
These workshops are open to both existing children that are part of Picky Dance Academy or new children. Children should bring a water bottle with them and a snack for the longer workshops.

Week 1 (three day workshop): Monday 5th July, Wednesday 7th July & Thursday 8th July
Frozen (Ballet)

Our Frozen themed Ballet workshop will bring the story of Frozen to life through ballet dance steps based on Pre-Primary and Primary Ballet, and learn some of the themed routines to the classics ‘Do You Want to Build a Snowman’ and ‘Let It Go’.
The Lion King (Contemporary)

This Disney themed workshop, The Lion King, children will learn some of the steps and routines from the musical and bring it to life within the studio! This workshop will feature contemporary dancing (a mix of Ballet and Modern) to the classics ‘Hakuna Matata’ and ‘Circle of Life’.
Glee (Modern)

Our Glee themed workshop offers pupils the opportunity to learn Modern moves and routines from the show, and have a good party in the studio to ‘Proud Mary’ and ‘Don’t Stop Believin’.
