Remarkable documentary directed by Ed Sayers, that assembles a large collection of footage shot by individuals around the world, on Super 8mm film cameras, illustrating the diversity of the natural world as well as the challenges it faces. Captured by a combination of professional filmmakers and local enthusiasts alike, scored with diverse music and accompanied with 11 different languages, Super Nature sees a growing network of makers take to this antique format, to share images, thoughts and philosophies in a gentle, beguiling way. The result is a fresh perspective on the most pressing subject of our times.
