Saving a life is an important skill for anyone to have, it could be from early recognition, contacting the emergency services to administering CPR. At Picky, we have been delivering a series of ‘Save a Life’ workshops for ages 14 and upwards. Recognising there are younger children who would benefit from learning these important skills we are planning a workshop especially for 8-13yr olds. This would be delivered with a teaching style to suit the younger participants who can be accompanied by a parent/carer if suitable.
Workshop content covers dangers in and around the home, recognising a casualty, calling the emergency services, basic life support (CPR), choking (diagnosis and treatment) and drowning (prevention and treatment). Sunday 9 September, 2pm – 4pm £15 per person To book call 01856 879900 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org and one of the team will get back to you.
