At The Pickaquoy Centre we have a wide selection of meeting rooms to cater for any meeting or event, from a business meeting to a conference. We can manage all of your audio visual and IT needs with expert staff on hand to assist you in the smooth running of your event. Listed below is a brief description of the fantastic conference rooms we have available.

 

Arena

Due to its superb acoustic qualities, the Arena is the perfect concert and wedding venue, with a seating capacity of up to 1,200 or 1,600 standing. Staging, acoustic curtain and acoustic towers are also available along with trained knowledgeable staff.


Lecture Theatre

This luxurious theatre is available for private hire when it is not being used as a cinema. It offers exceptional comfort, acoustics and decor, and has a seating capacity of 243, ideal for large presentations. The audience can experience powerpoint presentations on the large screen, and the theatre is equipped with an induction loop for the hearing-impaired and has wheelchair access.


Grainayre Room

This is an ideal room for training sessions and discussion groups. A connecting door to the lecture theatre means it is a perfect space to use as a breakout room in conjunction with the lecture theatre. 


Quayside Suite

This suite has been beautifully finished to provide an exceptionally tasteful environment and the facilities make it ideally suitable for small wedding receptions, parties or private functions, as well as workshops, training sessions and much more. The Quayside Suite also hosts group exercise and dance classes.


The Noust or St Magnus Suite

Designed as a boardroom, these rooms provide a very comfortable venue for group meetings, training sessions, AGMs or regular meetings. Click the images below to enlarge.

Booking Guidelines

  • Bookings are only confirmed once you have received confirmation from the Centre, please submit a Meeting Room Booking Form when making your request.
  • We follow a strict 24 hour cancellation policy.
  • Bookings should be made through a recognised representative of the organisation.
